What is TopStep's daily loss limit?
TopStep's daily loss limit is 2% of your account balance. For the $50,000 account, the daily limit is $1,000.
What drawdown type does TopStep use?

How do I calculate profit and loss on TopStep?
For forex: P&L = (Exit Price - Entry Price) x Lots x 100,000. For example, buying 1 lot EUR/USD at 1.0800 and selling at 1.0850 = (0.0050) x 100,000 = $500 profit. For futures (ES mini), each tick ($0.25 move) = $12.50 per contract.
What happens if my loss exceeds TopStep's daily limit?
If your loss exceeds TopStep's daily loss limit of $1,000 on the $50,000 account, your account will be breached and you will fail the evaluation or lose the funded account. Always calculate your potential loss before entering a trade.
