Corrections Policy

We Take Accuracy Seriously
Traders' funded accounts depend on accurate rule data. A single incorrect data point -- a wrong drawdown percentage, a missing consistency rule, an outdated news restriction -- can cost a trader their account. That is why we treat every correction as urgent.
We maintain a transparent corrections process so you know exactly how we handle errors when they are found.
How to Report an Error
If you find a rule on Vigil that does not match the official firm website, please report it immediately. You can report errors in two ways:
- Email -- Send a report to [email protected] with the subject line "Rule Correction". Include:
- The firm name and account size
- The specific rule that appears incorrect
- A link to the official source showing the correct information
- Flag button -- Every firm rules page on Vigil has a flag button. Clicking it lets you report a discrepancy directly from the page you are viewing, pre-filling the firm and rule context.
How Corrections Are Processed
When we receive a correction report, we follow a defined process:
- Acknowledgment -- We acknowledge the report within 24 hours.
- Verification-- A team member independently checks the reported rule against the firm's official website, terms of service, and FAQ page. This happens within 48 hours of the report.
- Correction or confirmation -- If the error is confirmed, we update the database immediately and update the "last verified" timestamp. If the existing data is correct, we respond to the reporter explaining our finding and citing the official source.
- Notification -- When a correction is made, we notify the reporter and log the correction in our correction history below.
Response Time Commitments
- Acknowledgment -- Within 24 hours of report
