Frequently Asked Questions
Are one-step challenges easier to pass?
One-step challenges have a single profit target to hit, but the target is often higher (10-12%) than a two-step challenge (8% + 5%). The tradeoff: fewer phases but a higher bar per phase.
Which prop firms offer one-step challenges?
My Funded Futures and several forex firms offer 1-step evaluations. The category overlaps with instant-funded accounts. Check whether the "one step" is a traditional evaluation or an instant-funded with fee model.
Should I choose one-step or two-step?
Choose one-step if you have a high-conviction strategy that can hit a bigger target quickly. Choose two-step if you prefer a lower first target with a smaller second phase to prove consistency.
