What is Blue Guardian daily loss limit?
Source review:
Source: Official Blue Guardian rules (verified )Blue Guardian's daily loss limit is 4% of your starting daily balance.
Daily loss limits by account size:
- -$10,000: $400 daily limit (4%)
- -$25,000: $1,000 daily limit (4%)
- -$50,000: $2,000 daily limit (4%)
- -$100,000: $4,000 daily limit (4%)
- -$200,000: $8,000 daily limit (4%)
The daily loss limit resets each trading day. If you lose $400 on the $10,000 account in a single day, your account is terminated immediately -- regardless of your overall P&L or distance from max drawdown.
The daily limit is calculated from your starting daily balance. Only realized (closed) losses count. Open positions do not affect the daily calculation until closed.
The daily loss limit is the #1 cause of account termination on Blue Guardian. Most breaches happen from: 1. Oversizing a single position 2. Revenge trading after morning losses 3. Not accounting for spread/commission in the loss calculation
